Say The Word

Say The Word (Thomas Johnson, 2021) is a remarkable tall bearded iris that commands attention with its vibrant, painterly color blend and sculptural form. Reaching 35" (89 cm) and blooming midseason, this garden-showpiece features standards in a luminous mango and peach fusion, complemented by deep mango-peach style arms. The falls are a crisp white, dramatically accented by mango-peach hafts and a bold, ruffled mango-peach band that extends down the petal, creating a dynamic, color-forward effect. The beard is based in white, with tangerine-tipped hairs and white ends, adding a vivid finishing touch. With its pedigree from Blyth and Epic Romance lines, Say The Word is a collector-grade, field-stopping iris—perfect for those seeking a statement-making centerpiece for their landscape.
