Sari's Dance

Sari's Dance (Ginny Spoon, 2007) is a gallery-worthy miniature tall bearded iris that brings a painterly, exhibition-grade flair to the garden. Reaching 19" (48 cm) and blooming in the late midseason, this cultivar features old gold yellow standards and style arms, blending yellow-green (RHS 153D) and yellow (9C) for a luminous, refined effect. The falls are a vibrant medium lavender-violet (84A), boldly edged with old gold yellow borders, a dramatic midline, and radiant areas around the yellow-orange (22A) beards. Its ruffled, flared form creates a sculptural, showpiece presence. With a pedigree from 'Butterfly Dance' X 'Maslon' and a decorated history—Honorable Mention (2011), Award of Merit (2014), and Williamson-White Medal (2016)—Sari's Dance is a collector-grade, field-stopping iris for the discerning enthusiast. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm. Attributes: Novelty, Ruffled, Space Age Awards: Award of Merit, Favorite Guest, Honorable Mention, Williamson-White Medal
