Runner Girl

Runner Girl (Mike Sutton, 2024) is a remarkable tall bearded iris that commands attention with its radiant, painterly blend of pale purple-pink standards and falls, highlighted by a deeper purple-pink flush up the midrib and strong purple shoulders. Standing at 37" (94 cm) and blooming midseason, this captivating variety features ruffled petals, vibrant orange beards, and a slight sweet fragrance. The sculptural blooms are both garden-showpiece and exhibition grade, making Runner Girl a memorable addition to any landscape. Bred from ‘Pleasantly Surprised’ x ‘Magical’ and introduced by Sutton’s Iris Gardens in 2025, this iris is available from Amethyst Creek Farm. Attributes: Edge Trim, Fragrant, Ruffled
