Royal Sterling (Keith Keppel, 2005) is a tall bearded iris reaching 40" (102 cm), blooming in the late midseason. This award-winning variety features elegant lavender white standards, subtly flushed with orchid at the base, and silvery white falls with a slightly deeper edge. The beards are white, delicately tipped with bittersweet pink in the throat, adding a refined accent. Bred from Vienna Waltz x Fogbound, Royal Sterling is recognized for its sophisticated color palette and graceful form, earning both an Honorable Mention in 2007 and an Award of Merit in 2009.
