Royal Snowcap

‘Royal Snowcap’ (Schreiner, 2007) is a commanding tall bearded iris that brings a gallery-worthy presence to the garden. Reaching 40" (102 cm) and blooming midseason to late, this cultivar features luminous white standards and style arms (RHS 155C) that contrast dramatically with rich purple falls (79B) edged in a crisp white band. The tangerine beards, tipped in white, add a vibrant accent. With its bold, high-contrast coloration and sculptural form, ‘Royal Snowcap’ is a show garden quality selection, perfect for creating a memorable, bed-defining display. Honored with an AIS Honorable Mention in 2009, this hybrid of ‘Fit For A King’ x ‘Parvin’s Pinot’ is a testament to Schreiner’s masterful breeding. No noted fragrance or rebloom. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm. Attributes: Edge Trim, Fertile Awards: Honorable Mention
