Role Model

Role Model (Don Denney by James McWhirter, 1988) is a tall bearded iris reaching 36" (91 cm), introduced by Cottage Gardens. This early to midseason bloomer features ruffled standards in a melon rosy tan with a peach influence, while the falls are a deeper shade with a lighter area beneath a vivid tangerine beard. The blooms offer a slight fragrance, adding to their garden appeal. Bred from (Spectacular Bid x Brandy) X All That Jazz, Role Model was recognized with an Honorable Mention in 1990 and an Award of Merit in 1994. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
