River Runs Through

River Runs Through (Robert Van Liere, 2023) is a remarkable Tall Bearded Iris that brings a gallery-worthy flair to the garden. Reaching an impressive 37" (94 cm) in midseason, this cultivar features luminous yellow standards delicately edged with a whisper of blue, complemented by matching yellow style arms. The falls are a true spectacle: vibrant yellow with a vivid blue wash that flows down the center, expanding into a bold triangular motif that stops three-quarters of the way down each petal. Accented by orange beards tipped in blue and a subtle fragrance, River Runs Through is a painterly, color-forward bloom bred from ‘Promise Keeper’ x ‘Global Crossing’. Its dynamic patterning and radiant presence make it a memorable centerpiece for any landscape.
