Rimaround

Rimaround (J. Terry Aitken, 2007) is an Intermediate Bearded iris reaching 22" (56 cm) in height, blooming in the late midseason. This award-winning variety features crisp white standards accented by bold, heavy purple plicata stitching and matching purple style arms. The falls are notably round and white, edged with a precise 3/16" purple plicata band, and finished with white beards tipped in purple. Rimaround is the result of a cross between Art Deco and Fairy Ring, and has been recognized with multiple honors, including the Honorable Mention (2009), Award of Merit (2011), and the prestigious Sass Medal (2013).
