Restless Spirit

Restless Spirit (Keith Keppel, 2016) is a tall bearded iris reaching 36" (91 cm), blooming in the early midseason. This elegant variety features standards in veronica violet, softly transitioning to dove grey at the edges, complemented by pale greyed violet style arms edged in nankeen yellow. The falls display a harmonious blend of ecru and rosy beige at the hafts, with the remainder shifting from oyster white to amber white, highlighted by a minuet-toned center suffusion. Burnt sienna beards and a faint lavender cast at the tips add further depth to its refined palette. Bred from Secret Rites X Flame Amber, Restless Spirit was introduced by Keppel in 2017 and received an Honorable Mention in 2019. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
