Red Zinger

Red Zinger (Paul Black, 1985) is an Intermediate Bearded iris reaching 26" (66 cm) in height, blooming from midseason to late. This award-winning variety features medium burgundy wine standards and deeper, velvety burgundy wine falls accented by a dramatic black cherry spot and an old gold beard. Red Zinger offers a slight sweet fragrance and a refined, elegant color palette. Its parentage includes 'Buckwheat Honey', 'Sundance Kid', and 'Pride Of Oklahoma'.
