Red Frog Flyin

Red Frog Flyin (Robert Skaggs, 2024) is a gallery-worthy tall bearded iris that brings a painterly, high-contrast flair to the garden. Reaching an impressive 38" (96.5 cm) and blooming midseason, this cultivar features creamy peach standards brushed with a subtle violet-maroon smear along the midrib, complemented by matching style arms. The falls are a bold violet-maroon, intricately veined in white and finished with a crisp 1/4" white rim, creating a dramatic, graphic effect. The blooms are notably flared, with beards that shift from orange at the throat to violet-maroon at the tips, each ending in a distinctive horn. A slight sweet fragrance adds to its refined appeal. With its pedigree rooted in standout parentage, Red Frog Flyin is a conversation-starting, exhibition-grade iris—an unforgettable centerpiece for any collector or garden enthusiast.
