Rebel Princess (Elizabeth Rieniets, 2024) is a gallery-worthy Intermediate Bearded iris that radiates charisma and artistry in every bloom. Reaching 24" (61 cm) and flowering midseason, this cultivar is a true conversation-starter with its painterly interplay of color and intricate veining. The standards glow in a luminous blend of bright and deep lavender, softly merging into a shaded dark khaki center, while dramatic crimson red veining at the base adds a bold, graphic touch. Style arms echo the bright lavender, deepening centrally and edged with a vivid lemon-yellow trim, complemented by fringed crests with a striking lemon-yellow cleft. The falls are a radiant flavescent yellow, animated by sophisticated rays, lines, and veining in amaranth deep purple, jasmine, and brass, with hafts and shoulders shaded in darker brass.
