Reality Road

Reality Road (Tom Burseen, 2019) is a remarkable tall bearded iris that commands attention with its bold, painterly color palette and sculptural form. Standing at 35" (89 cm), this early to midseason bloomer features luminous cream standards and style arms, subtly washed with pale violet-blue along the midribs. The falls are saturated chrysanthemum crimson (RHS 185A) with rich brown-washed edges, creating a dramatic, high-contrast effect. Vivid cadmium orange beards add a vibrant pop, while the ruffled, flared petals and slight musky fragrance elevate its garden presence. With its pedigree-worthy lineage and dynamic, exhibition-grade appeal, Reality Road is a showpiece for any collector or landscape enthusiast. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
