Ravishing Ruby

Ravishing Ruby (Thomas Johnson, 2016) is a dazzling Tall Bearded Iris that radiates gallery-worthy vibrance in any garden. This award-winning cultivar stands tall at 36" (91 cm), blooming early with extraordinary magenta standards that melt into deeper rose, complemented by matching magenta style arms. The luminous light rose-maroon falls shimmer with a subtle blue cast, edged by a painterly band in the standards’ hue, creating a high-contrast, unforgettable display. Dark mustard beards tipped with brown add a refined accent, while a sweet fragrance completes its sophisticated allure. With a pedigree as a sibling to 'Prince of Hearts' x 'Broome Sunset' and accolades including the Honorable Mention (2018) and Award of Merit (2021), Ravishing Ruby is a collector-grade, show garden centerpiece—available at Amethyst Creek Farm. Awards: Award of Merit, Honorable Mention
