Raspberry Swirl

Raspberry Swirl (Michael Sutton, 2008) is a tall bearded iris reaching 34" (86 cm), blooming in the late midseason. This award-winning variety features light greyed-orange standards flushed and veined with mallow purple, accented by a 1/4" golden tan rim and matching golden tan style arms. The falls are a deep lilac-purple with a near-black flush, edged by a 1/4" solferino purple rim and a near-black wire edge, highlighted by white veining around vivid orange beards. Raspberry Swirl is a sibling to Applause Line and has received both the Honorable Mention (2011) and Award of Merit (2013) from the American Iris Society. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
