Raspberry Silk

Raspberry Silk (Donald Spoon, 2000) is a gallery-worthy addition to any iris collection, celebrated for its painterly, broken color pattern. This midseason Border Bearded iris stands at 26" (66 cm), featuring a luminous white ground dramatically splashed with deep raspberry and infused with light pink. The light pink style arms and pink-tangerine beards, tipped with white and highlighted by a tangerine cherry throat, create a vibrant, graphic effect. Ruffled petals add sculptural refinement, while a slight sweet fragrance enhances its appeal. Bred from Peach Jam x Little John, Raspberry Silk is a color-forward, exhibition-grade showpiece—perfect for gardeners seeking a bloom with undeniable charisma and centerpiece quality.
