Radical Rascal

Radical Rascal (Paul Black, 2020) is a truly memorable SDB iris, celebrated for its gallery-worthy, high-contrast patterning and dynamic color play. This late midseason standout reaches 12" (30 cm), with crisp white standards dramatically accented by random plicata markings and splashes of mid purple, creating a painterly, graphic effect. The mid purple style arms edged in light purple add a refined touch, while the falls showcase a white base with mid purple plicata ranging from dotted edges to bold, saturated bands. The beards are a visual delight, shifting from white at the base to dark gold in the throat, through mid gold, and finishing in white at the tips. A slight sweet fragrance completes the experience. With its distinguished pedigree from 'Cool Dude', Radical Rascal is a conversation-starting, collector-grade bloom that brings artistry and presence to any spring garden. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm. Attributes: Edge Trim, Fragrant, Speckled
