Quemando

Quemando (Elizabeth Rieniets, 2023) is a remarkable SDB iris that commands attention with its dynamic color play and painterly patterning. Reaching 12" (30.5 cm) and blooming late in the season, this cultivar features pastel orange standards and style arms, with a vivid orange-red center and lighter pastel orange accents. The falls are saturated violet-red, dramatically lined and shaded with deeper tones, and highlighted by a narrow pastel orange rim and striking orange lines at the haft and throat. Pastel orange beards tipped in orange-red add a final touch of vibrancy. With its bold, graphic presence and gallery-worthy coloration, Quemando is a memorable addition to any garden or collector’s bed.
