Purple Marble

Purple Marble (Sutton, 2021) is a remarkable tall bearded iris that commands attention with its painterly, high-contrast blooms. Reaching 36" (91 cm) and blooming midseason, this cultivar features bluebird blue standards dramatically streaked and splashed with white, each edged by a thin red-violet wire rim. The falls are a rich purple, boldly streaked and splashed with pure white, complemented by vibrant yellow beards and bluebird blue style arms with white accents. A slight spicy fragrance adds to its allure. Bred from County of Kent X Peggy Anne, Purple Marble is a true garden showpiece—pattern-forward, memorable, and a standout addition to any landscape.
