Pulsator

Pulsator (Thomas Johnson, 2011) is a standout SDB iris reaching 13" (33 cm) in height, introduced by Mid-America Gardens. This midseason bloomer features blue-purple standards and style arms, with rich purple-black falls. The beards are notably large, displaying a vibrant gradient from yellow in the throat to white in the middle and blue at the end. Pulsator is also distinguished by its sweet fragrance. A sibling to Wish Upon A Star X Squeal, it has earned both an Honorable Mention (2013) and an Award of Merit (2015). Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
