Puerto Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta (Thomas Johnson, 2021) is a tall bearded iris reaching 36" (91 cm) and blooming early in the season. This variety features golden yellow standards and falls with dark yellow hafts that blend into a light lemon wash, accented by a mustard-yellow edge. Salmon shading at the haft transitions into a blended wash within the yellow border, while yellow-orange beards add further warmth. Noted for its sweet fragrance, Puerto Vallarta is a result of the cross In the News X Dressed to the Nines and was awarded an Honorable Mention by the American Iris Society in 2023.
