Psychic

Psychic (Thomas Johnson, 2008) is a gallery-worthy Tall Bearded iris that delivers extraordinary visual impact in the early season. Towering at 42" (107 cm), this cultivar features standards elegantly washed and sanded in medium steel blue-violet, overlaid with a luminous network of white veins for a painterly, opalescent effect. The lavender style arms and blue-violet midrib and crest add sculptural dimension, while the falls deepen the palette with richer tones and dramatic white areas highlighting the near-white beards. Ruffled petals and a sweet fragrance complete its refined, exhibition-grade presence. With a pedigree from Palm Reader x seedling T50A (Fancy Dress x Progressive Attitude) and an Honorable Mention from 2011, Psychic is a collector-grade, conversation-starting centerpiece for any curated garden. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm. Attributes: Ruffled, Veining Awards: Honorable Mention
