Princess Bride

Princess Bride (Sutton, 2000) is a tall bearded iris reaching 25" (64 cm), introduced by George Sutton. This late midseason to very late bloomer features elegant white standards with a cream yellow midrib, creamy white style arms, and white falls accented by yellow hafts. The beards are a vivid yellow-orange, fading to creamy white at the tips. Its fluted form and slight spicy fragrance add to its appeal. Bred from Elizabeth Poldark X seedling #F-3 (Bubble Up x Elizabeth Poldark), Princess Bride received an Honorable Mention in 2004. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
