Priceless Memories

Priceless Memories (Richard Tasco, 2017) is a tall bearded iris reaching 38" (97 cm) with a midseason bloom. This cultivar features dusky champagne-tan standards with a diamond-dusted finish and a mid violet flush on the lower midrib. The style arms are creamy tan with bronze edges and a light violet flush along the ridges, complemented by a light brown edge on the back and a subtle violet flush under the stigmatic lip. The falls are a deep plum-purple with black highlights, a slightly lighter edge, and creamy white veins beside the beards. The beards themselves are white-based with bright mandarin red tips, fading to a lighter red at the end. Foliage is heavily purple-based, and the blooms are moderately ruffled with a slight fragrance. Bred from Smoky Shadows X Viking Dancer, Priceless Memories received an Honorable Mention from the American Iris Society in 2019. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
