Powerful

Powerful (Anton Mego, 2022) is a tall bearded iris reaching 36" (91 cm) and blooming late in the season. This variety features yellow standards with delicate white veining at the edges and a fine beetroot purple wire rim, complemented by yellow style arms. The falls are a dramatic, near-black beetroot purple with a vivid yellow area surrounding the yellow beards. Notably serrated and carrying a musky fragrance, Powerful is a memorable addition to any iris collection. Bred from Reckless Abandon X Flash of Brilliance and introduced by Sutton’s in 2022.
