Power of Dreams

Power of Dreams (Barry Blyth, 2017) is a breathtaking Tall Bearded iris that radiates painterly sophistication in the early garden. Reaching 36" (91 cm), this memorable variety features luminous lavender standards with a delicate pastel salmon-rose flush at the midrib, while the falls blend pastel lavender and salmon, gently fading to a lighter lavender near the beard and finished with a fine wire lavender edge. The beards are white tipped with vivid tangerine, adding a dynamic pop of color. With its gallery-worthy color transitions and refined presence, Power of Dreams is a collector-grade iris with a distinguished pedigree—seedling V323-2, a sibling to 'Colours of the Wind,' crossed with 'Valley of Dreams.' Honored with an AIS Honorable Mention in 2023, this cultivar is a true garden showpiece for the discerning enthusiast. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm. Awards: Honorable Mention
