Postcard From Paradise

Postcard From Paradise (Jim Hedgecock, 2024) is a remarkable tall bearded iris that commands attention with its painterly color play and sculptural form. Standing at 30" (76 cm) and blooming midseason, this hybrid dazzles with pale lavender pink standards, heavily laced and ruffled for a refined, couture-worthy look. The falls are a rich dark champagne, accented by darker pink hafts, vivid purple veins, and a dramatic purple belly stripe, with a slight purple flash below the deep orange beards tipped by a small purple spear. Flowers lighten as they age, adding dynamic visual interest to the garden. With its gallery-worthy presence and pedigree from 'Broken Dreams' x 'Nigerian Raspberry', Postcard From Paradise is a show garden centerpiece and a collector-grade addition for any iris enthusiast. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm. Attributes: Edge Trim, Laced, Ruffled, Veining
