‘Pond Lily’ (Evelyn Jones, 1994) is a tall bearded iris reaching 38" (97 cm), introduced by Aitken’s Salmon Creek in 1995. This award-winning variety features midseason blooms with elegantly ruffled standards in veronica violet, deepening at the midrib, and falls of veronica violet infused with pink. The vibrant tangerine beards add a vivid accent. Noted for its complex, distinguished pedigree and recognized with multiple honors including the Wister Medal, ‘Pond Lily’ is also reported to rebloom in California (USDA Zone 9).
