Polite Applause

Polite Applause (Joseph Ghio, 2010) is a tall bearded iris reaching 33" (84 cm), blooming in the late midseason. This variety features light pink standards and style arms, with falls displaying a pink ground richly overlaid in violet, deepening to near violet at the edges. The tangerine beards provide a vivid accent. A sibling to Illusionist, Polite Applause was awarded an Honorable Mention in 2015. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
