Phasers On Stun (Douglas Kanarowski, R. 2015) is a tall bearded iris reaching 40" (102 cm), blooming very early to midseason. This award-winning variety features brilliant golden yellow standards with a bronze-brown rim, matching golden yellow style arms, and falls edged with a 1" band of rich, rusty black-cherry. Deep marigold beards and substantial ruffling add to its visual appeal. Noted for its sunfast blooms and slight spicy fragrance, Phasers On Stun has received an Honorable Mention (2018), Award of Merit (2023), and was named Favorite Guest (2023).
