Phaeton

Phaeton (Marky Smith, 1997) is a tall bearded iris reaching 38" (96 cm), introduced by Aitken’s Salmon Creek and recognized with an Honorable Mention in 1999. This midseason bloomer features strong yellow standards and more intense yellow falls (RHS 12A), accented by some white netting around vivid orange (25A) beards. The blooms are notably ruffled, creating a vibrant and textured display in the garden. Bred from Bold Gold x Gold Country, Phaeton is a robust and eye-catching addition to any iris collection.
