Perihelion Pass

Perihelion Pass (Thomas Johnson, 2019) is a commanding tall bearded iris that delivers a radiant, color-forward display in the midseason garden. Reaching 36" (91 cm), this memorable cultivar features cream standards flushed and veined with luminous lemon yellow, complemented by matching lemon yellow style arms. The falls showcase a dramatic, large lemon yellow sunburst around vivid tangerine beards, encircled by a wide, rich rust red band edged with a narrow lighter rim. With a slight fragrance and a pedigree as a sibling to Pop Idol X Hard To Resist, Perihelion Pass is a noteworthy, exhibition-grade addition for collectors and enthusiasts alike. Honored with an AIS Honorable Mention in 2023. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm. Attributes: Edge Trim, Fragrant, Veining Awards: Honorable Mention
