Penny Lane (Larry Lauer, 1999) is a tall bearded iris reaching 34" (86 cm) and blooming in midseason. This award-winning variety features elegant saffron yellow standards and style arms, with cadmium orange falls edged in a deeper shade. The tangerine beards add a vivid accent, while the ruffled and lightly laced petals create a refined texture. Penny Lane offers a slight sweet fragrance and is the result of a cross between Voltage and a Gratuity x Bogota seedling.
