Pennmanship

Pennmanship (Robert Van Liere, 2022) is a remarkable tall bearded iris that commands attention with its luminous ice blue standards and style arms, complemented by matching ice blue falls edged in a deeper, saturated blue. The golden beards, tipped in blue, add a vivid, painterly contrast, making each bloom a gallery-worthy centerpiece in the midseason garden. Standing at an impressive 35" (89 cm), Pennmanship is a collector-grade introduction from Iris4u, bred from a distinguished lineage including Queen’s Circle and Beautiful Victoria. This cultivar’s refined color harmony and bold presence make it a standout choice for those seeking a show garden quality iris with undeniable visual impact. No noted rebloom or fragrance.
