Peek and Seek

Peek and Seek (Elizabeth Rieniets, 2018) is a memorable SDB iris that commands attention with its painterly color play and pronounced sweet fragrance. Reaching 10" (25 cm) in midseason, this cultivar features luminous yellow standards with a lavender-blue wash at the base, complemented by sculptural yellow style arms edged and centered in dandelion. The falls showcase a crisp white ground, boldly marked with dandelion shoulders and a vivid blue streak down the center, finished with a yellow edge. The beards transition from red-orange in the throat to orange and end in dandelion, adding a dynamic, color-forward accent. With its graphic patterning and captivating scent, Peek and Seek is a showpiece for collectors and garden enthusiasts alike. Parentage unknown. Introduced by Constant Gardner in 2019.
