Payback Time (Schreiner, 2014) is a tall bearded iris reaching 44" (112 cm) with a midseason bloom. This variety features creamy yellow standards (RHS 4D) and rich red-purple falls (59D) accented by darker veining and delicate white veining near the yellow beards. Bred from seedling MM 332-1, with Great Smokey Dawn as the pod parent crossed with Color Strokes, Payback Time offers a bold, contrasting color pattern and elegant form.
