Patchwork Puzzle

Patchwork Puzzle (Thomas Johnson, 2011) is a tall bearded iris reaching 36" (91 cm) and blooming in the late season. This variety features clean white standards edged with a narrow gold halo and white style arms with gold-edged crests. The falls are white, overlaid with dark purple lines that intensify to solid purple at the lower edges, complemented by wide yellow hafts and bands. Golden yellow beards and ruffled petals add to its appeal, along with a slight fragrance. Bred from Wild Angel x Whispering Spirits, Patchwork Puzzle received an Honorable Mention from the American Iris Society in 2014. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
