Past Midnight

Past Midnight (Kimberly Rieniets, 2021) is a remarkable miniature dwarf bearded iris, celebrated for its commanding presence and dramatic color palette. This early to midseason bloomer features midnight purple standards and style arms, while the falls are a deep, raisin-black-washed purple with vivid orange-yellow veining in the throat and a luxurious velvet texture. The beards are a dynamic blend of orange in the throat and middle, transitioning to white-violet at the ends. A slight sweet fragrance adds to its allure. Bred from ‘Buckle Bunny’ x ‘Little Sumpin’’, Past Midnight is a collector-grade, field-stopping addition to any garden, offering a bold, painterly impact in compact 8" (20 cm) form. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm. Attributes: Fertile, Fragrant
