Parting Glances
$12.00
Parting Glances (Paul Black, 2009) is an Intermediate Bearded iris reaching 25" (64 cm) and blooming in the early midseason. This variety features old gold standards with a center blended and rouged in medium violet to plum, complemented by darker old gold style arms and a red violet midrib. The falls display a white area around the beard, heavily washed in medium violet that blends into medium charcoal-burgundy, finished with a dark burgundy edge. Notable are the dark burgundy plicata wash and dotting over cream hafts. The beards transition from medium orange in the throat to medium grey-orange in the middle and light violet at the end. Parting Glances is distinguished by its pronounced spicy fragrance. Bred from Cimarron Trail x Stormy Circle, it was introduced by Mid-America in 2009 and received an Honorable Mention in 2013.
