Over Achiever (Elizabeth Rieniets, 2016) is a memorable MTB iris that commands attention with its painterly, high-contrast blooms. Reaching 22" (56 cm) and blooming late in the season, this cultivar features white standards dramatically veined in dark royal purple, with a luminous light purple flush and creped texture. The large, purple style arms edged in lemon add a refined touch, while the falls dazzle with a bright white base, bold royal purple streaks, and graphic veining at the edges. Gold beards in the throat and middle transition to white at the ends, and a pronounced sweet fragrance completes the sensory experience. Parentage unknown.
