Osseo

Osseo (Jack Worel, R. 2006) is a tall bearded iris reaching 34" (86 cm) and blooming in midseason. This cultivar features a light yellow self, with standards that are subtly deeper at the edges and falls that display a richer tone at the haft. The beards are blue, transitioning to yellow in the throat, and the blooms offer a slight sweet fragrance. Osseo is a result of a cross between (unknown x Shirley M) and a sibling of seedling #0102, Holly Lane 2007. Recognized with an Honorable Mention in 2010, Osseo is available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
