One Bad Hombre (Tom Burseen, 2019) is a truly extraordinary Tall Bearded iris, standing 35" (89 cm) tall and blooming from midseason to late. This cultivar captivates with luminous Chinese yellow standards and style arms, softly blended at the edges, set above dramatic violet-blue falls edged in creamy brown. A light blue flare below the vivid orange beard and a marigold orange glow at the base add layers of visual intrigue. The bloom is finished with bold, feathered violet-blue and brown flounces, all presented in an exceptionally wide, rounded form with looped ruffles.
