Nordica (William Maryott, 1992) is a tall bearded iris reaching 37" (94 cm), introduced by Maryott in 1992. This midseason bloomer features heavily ruffled, pure white petals complemented by prominent red beards, creating a crisp and elegant contrast. Bred from Radiant Energy x Oktoberfest, Nordica is recognized for its refined form and showy presence in the garden. It has received both the Honorable Mention (1995) and Award of Merit (1998) from the American Iris Society. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
