Night Game

Night Game (Keith Keppel, 1996) is a tall bearded iris reaching 42" (107 cm), blooming midseason to late. This award-winning variety features standards in rich eggplant to fluorite violet, complemented by mellowglow style arms with hortensia ribbing. The falls are a deep, velvety blackish purple edged in narrow prune purple, accented by brick orange beards with a violet base. Night Game offers a slight sweet fragrance and is the result of a cross between Witches Sabbath and Gallant Rogue. Recognized with an Honorable Mention in 1998 and an Award of Merit in 2000, this iris is available from Amethyst Creek Farm.
