Next to Me

‘Next to Me’ (Adam Cordes, 2017) is a tall bearded iris reaching 36" (91 cm) and blooming midseason to late. This variety features burgundy-plum standards and plum style arms, with falls in a deeper, velvety burgundy-plum accented by oxblood hafts. The beards are purple-based with bronze-tipped hairs, creating a rich, layered effect. Bred from ‘What’s My Line’ X ‘Regimen’, ‘Next to Me’ was introduced by Cordes in 2017 and received an Honorable Mention from the American Iris Society in 2019. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
