Nevertheless (Keith Keppel, 2021) is a tall bearded iris reaching 40" (102 cm), blooming from early midseason to late. This Honorable Mention 2024 winner features opera mauve standards that blend and lighten to a cream edge, complemented by deep cream style arms with a pink cast. The falls display rich amaranth to aconite violet tones, accented by faint paler veining and a subtle narrow cream edge. Cream surrounds the beard, which is white-based with tips of Chinese orange to fire red and small yellow ends.
