Needlepoint

Needlepoint (Schreiner, 1983) is a tall bearded iris reaching 33" (84 cm) and blooms very early to early in the season. This elegant variety features cream standards with warm rose shading at the edges, while the falls display a crisp white ground intricately stitched with warm rose and a hint of copper. The ruffled blooms are accented by a dull light gold beard. Bred from 'Polka Party' x 'Happy Halo', Needlepoint was awarded an Honorable Mention in 1986. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
