Naples

Naples (Thomas Johnson, 2000) is a tall bearded iris reaching 33" (84 cm), introduced by Mid-America in 2001. This early to midseason bloomer features mauve buff standards with a purple midrib infusion and a gilt rim, complemented by peach apricot style arms. The velvety dark purple falls are edged lighter, with a white to salmon area veined in purple surrounding a dark orange beard. Naples is ruffled, with light purple at the foliage base and stalks, and offers a slight sweet fragrance. Parentage: Film Festival X In Town.
