Naivete

Naivete (Elizabeth Rieniets, R. 2024) is a charming miniature dwarf bearded iris, blooming early to midseason with 6" (15 cm) stems. Its standards are flax blue, delicately lined with pale chestnut at the base and a white-lined pale chestnut center. The style arms are lemon yellow with a more pronounced color on the crest, featuring a light orchid center and stigmatic lip. Falls are lemon yellow with hafts lined and veined in pale chestnut, a dotted line of pale chestnut from the end of the beard, white shading in the center, and light orchid dots across the petal. The beards are thick, showy, and orange peel in color. Naivete offers a slight sweet fragrance. Parentage: 'Velvet Promise' X unknown. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
