Mother Earth

Mother Earth (Ben Hager, 1987) is a tall bearded iris reaching 37" (94 cm), introduced by Melrose Gardens in 1988. This early midseason bloomer features elegant oyster cream standards, subtly tinted lavender at the edges and beige through the center. The falls display a refined lavender hue, paler around the pale blue-white beard, with beige accents on the hafts. Bred from Scenario x Pleasure Dome, Mother Earth received an Honorable Mention from the American Iris Society in 1991.
